Our company has over 40 years experience in the home furniture industry. It was first established by Harold C Murray in retail premises during the 1970s. Harold was later joined by his son Michael, developing a number of furniture stores in Merseyside & Cheshire. The Murray family has established successful long term relationships with the highest quality manufacturers during their years of trading. In 2002 Michael junior joined the family business after completing his masters in marketing at Liverpool University.

During the past 5 years the company has invested in a state of the art e-commerce web site to extend their business model to a wider audience. Coupled with their growing retail business the new concept ensured the company would stay one step ahead of the competition and keep in line with the growing number customers who prefer to purchase online. Because the company invested heavily in technology and back end development they have been able to reduce overheads and pass these savings on to customers who choose to buy direct over the Internet. In addition to our dedicated back room sales team, customer service co-workers we have developed a nationwide delivery team.

We are passionate about customer service. Therefore recently we have developed comprehensive training packages for our staff. This enables us to keep up to date with the very latest in sleep technology and innovations in design. As a result of this, customers can be sure they are receiving individualised, specialist advice to ensure they have a good night’s sleep.

At Land of Beds we are passionate about the importance of a regular and consistent sleep pattern and how this can affect quality of life. The directors have continued to reinforce and build their working relationships with the UK’s largest bed manufactures such as Sealy, Relyon, Dunlopillo, Slumberland, Myers and Silentnight. Additionally, they have developed new relationships with a broader range of manufacturers such as Healthbeds.

A recent innovation is the range of adjustable beds that we now able to offer.

Other recent additions to the range include a choice of bed frames and high quality pillows with a mixture of filings including memory foam both in our shops and on the internet.
